HOW IT WORKS
Virtual Design is all about the convenience and quick turnaround time. All of the communication is done by phone, video calls or email (via our client portal) which allows more flexibility.
If you enjoy DIY projects, but need assistance sourcing the perfect items that showcase your style, give you a better spatial layout and meet your budget needs. . .then this is for you!

DISCOVERY CALL (required)

The very first step in our on-boarding process is for you to book a free 15-30 minute discovery call with us (BOOK HERE). On the call, we will briefly discuss your project, answer any questions that you may have and explain our design process in further detail.
Please note: Design recommendations will not be discussed during the initial call.
VIDEO CONSULTATION
$175.00
After the discovery call, you will be able to book your virtual video consultation. Please select a day that you have approximately 1-2 hours to devote. (BOOK HERE)
Although it is not required, we would love to have a copy of your architectural floorplan prior to the video call, to make it easier to follow along. If not, we ask that you share a rough floorplan sketch with dimensions prior to the call.
On the call we will virtually walk-through your space (via FaceTime or Skype) to determine the project's scope and current condition. You will discuss your desires, show any specific problem areas, review the project timeline and determine a realistic budget.
DESIGN PROPOSAL QUOTE + CONTRACT
After the consultation, your designer will create a detailed design proposal quote and contract, inclusive of everything that was discussed in the consultation. You will review, digitally endorse it via our client portal and provide payment for 50% of the total design fee.
YOUR HOMEWORK
After the call, you will also have some homework to do....
You are to upload at least (5) inspiration photos onto our client portal - or - you may send over a link to your Pinterest board.
3D MODEL + MOOD BOARD
Next, your designer will draft up your 3D model and create a mood board which will include everything from furniture to lighting, paint or wallcoverings, accessories, etc. - all within your budget.
If necessary, two design revisions are always included in the package.
SHOPPING
Once you approve the floorplan layout and mood board design, the final design fee payment will be due.
Your designer will then share with you a detailed digital shopping list on the client portal, which includes a photo of each item, the description, dimensions, quantity needed and pricing.
Clickable website links will also be provided for you to make all of the purchases with ease.
INSTALLING + STAGING
You are responsible for bringing the design to life. This includes sourcing any necessary contractors, assembling the furniture, painting, installing and staging.
However, we will provide detailed, dimensioned drawings to help make your life easier.
We will also be available for a final FaceTime or Skype call to virtually assist with furniture and accessory placement, professional styling tips and any other questions that you may have.
FINAL PHOTOS
While it is not required, we would love if you sent us photos after the final install day so that we can provide any final recommendations and share the images of our beautiful project on Kristell Interiors social media platforms!
